Seeking Volunteers for Q300 PTA Fundraising

With the holidays coming up, we’d like to seek your help in growing our school through giving. The PTA is seeking volunteers to help support creative ways to fundraise for our school. In our second year, our population has doubled, and we’ve done so much to help work through our expansion into two campuses – but there’s still more work to go.

We’ve had a great many parents help make our school awesome – by pitching in at events, contributing through raffles, auctions, and direct appeals, and helping with classroom celebrations – that I’m hoping to see some of that effort channeled into more fundraising efforts. There’s no limit to what we can do!

How You Can Help

Although Direct Appeal accounts for most of our revenue, the Q300 PTA would like your help expanding our other fundraising initiatives. We’ve got our Spring Auction coming up and would like help in planning socials that may also become great fundraising opportunities. Some ways in which you can volunteer:

  • Help with Event Planning for our Spring Auction
  • Be point person for Boxtops for Education
  • Solicit donations for silent auctions
  • Help plan fundraising socials- (Wine anyone?) 😉
  • Coordination with vendors for Picture Day
  • Coordination of one-off fundraising events, including Uno’s Dough-Raisers, FilmRaisers, etc
  • Helping with corporate grants and partnerships

The great thing is that we can all contribute in different ways. We’re hoping to expand our volunteer base so we have the support when life sometimes gets in the way. With a little bit of help from a few more folks, we can do amazing things!

Contact the PTA!

Please send an email, stop by at PTA meetings and let us know if you’re interested! A preliminary call can be scheduled to touch base next week to get us geared up for 2017!

So please, send us a message on facebook.com/Q300PTA or shoot a note out to fundraising@q300pta.org if you are able to spare some time to help grow Q300 into a school that can exceed our expectations!
